Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active PA teaching license
• PA PDE Certification (Experience-Based Certificate in Special Education PK-12, Instructional I or II in appropriate Special Education subject areas)
• Prior experience in special education settings
• Proficient in IEP development and implementation
• Must provide proof of up-to-date Pennsylvania licensure and certification

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Serve as an itinerant Special Education Teacher across Carbon or Lehigh Counties
• Cover absences for staff within a defined geographic area
• Step into various IU classrooms as needed
• Cover long-term absences and leaves with professionalism and adaptability
• Deliver instruction and support to students in alignment with IEPs
