Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and nurture positive, trusting relationships with patients to foster open communication and effective therapeutic engagement.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relational challenges, utilizing a client-centered approach.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet the specific needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with patients, monitoring progress and making adjustments to treatment plans based on patient feedback and ongoing assessments.

• Engage in case management by referring clients to specialists or additional resources when necessary, ensuring comprehensive support.

• Document sessions, treatment plans, and patient progress in compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and team meetings to enhance your skills and contribute to team objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our patient population includes those dealing with relationship issues, life transitions, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. As an LMFT, your holistic approach will address not just individual needs but also the dynamics of family systems, fostering better communication and healing within relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.
