Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you help with day-to-day restaurant operations. Training and working alongside your team, you will also help manage food and labor costs. You will report directly to the General Manager to perform any needed tasks required during shifts. At times may be required to monitor all functions of the restaurant to ensure the successful execution of fast & accurate sandwiches while displayingROCKSTARcustomer service to assist maintaining a clean, organized shift. Must be able to work weekends. Typical Assistant Manager Schedule consists of 2 opening shifts and 3 closing shifts. We are understanding & flexible with life schedules! Perks include: Advancement Opportunities Employee Discounts* Duties and Responsibilities: Assists General Manager in helping manage a staff of approximately 10 employees Assists in the supervision of the preparation, sales, & service of food Assists In-Shop workers during rush periods in greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register & assembling orders to help maintain speedy service times Route deliveries & assist drivers to ensure we have fast delivery times Assists as needed with daily food preparation of meat & vegetable slicing, & overseeing fresh bread production Assists General Manager with reports & paperwork as needed Performs other related duties as required per Area Manager needs We slice our all-natural* meats and fresh veggies in-house every day.
