Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can partner with our clients to elicit project needs, generate clear and concise business requirements, and work collaboratively within an agile team. This candidate must have experience in building data visualizations, contributing to numerous projects simultaneously, leading business analysis sessions, and possess a strong background in technology. As part of a growing company and team, the role requires strong leadership and forward thinking to deliver valuable solutions to our clients. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented, has a strong sense of responsibility and has exceptional communication skills in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build data visualizations with Qlik Sense and other BI tools.
• Perform requirements gathering through client workshop sessions, business process descriptions, user stories, scenarios, and business analysis.
• Challenge business stakeholders on requirements, processes, and solution drivers to ensure an appropriate level of detail and to remove ambiguity.
• Identify information gaps and provide input to suggest BI solutions to meet client needs.
• Document business requirements for solution development by effectively articulating and summarizing client business and technical needs.
• Assist with data validation, data cleansing, and troubleshooting.
• Support the Technical team by providing guidance and clarifications regarding requirement questions.
• Collaborate with the Technical team in an agile fashion to ensure that User Experience and Visual Design align with required functionality.
• Gain thorough understanding of client and business needs to provide consultative insights.
• Share ideas on process improvements and governance so the entire Data & Analytics team can improve its engagement with the business.

Requirements:

• 1+ years’ experience of building data visualizations using Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• 2-4 years professional experience as a Business Analyst/BI Analyst.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
• BA required, preferably in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence.
• Knowledge of SQL programming language a plus.
