Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients and related neonatal and multidisciplinary needs during a designated night shift.
- Deliver nursing care based on the nursing process, aligned with the medical plan of care and input from patients and significant others.
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate comprehensive care for patients of various ages as assigned to the unit.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care for patients and families.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to CNA staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of California
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 8 weeks
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Capacity to provide care across age groups and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an acute hospital setting
