Senior Scientist, Pain Interventions - Onsite

Medtronic Neuromodulation seeks a Senior Scientist to analyze neural recording datasets and develop machine learning algorithms supporting pain intervention therapies. The role combines data science, signal processing, and clinical collaboration to advance next-generation neuromodulation technologies in Minneapolis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale neural recording datasets to identify clinically meaningful patterns and biomarkers
- Develop machine learning, AI, statistical, and signal processing algorithms for predictive insights
- Design and execute data analysis strategies supporting research, preclinical, and clinical studies
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project teams to translate findings into product decisions
- Communicate technical findings and evidence to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years relevant experience, or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD
- Expertise in statistical methods, experimental design, and data analytics for complex problems
- Machine learning and/or artificial intelligence model development experience
- Python and/or MATLAB proficiency for large dataset processing and analytical modeling
- Experience analyzing physiological signals and applying signal processing techniques
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire
