Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (18:00–06:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Medical Surgical unit with a maximum nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Work night shift hours with rotating every-other-weekend scheduling
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Medical Surgical assignments as needed, unless telemetry trained
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, with no more than one holiday off request per contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Ability to work night shifts (18:00–06:30) and every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry training or experience (reduces floating requirement to PCU)
• Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
