Exciting contract opportunity available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist! A vital maternity leave coverage is needed in an elementary school setting, supporting students ranging in age from 5 to 11. Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience providing services in a school setting, particularly elementary grades
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Ability to manage caseloads and paperwork efficiently in a busy school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students with speech and language needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student progress
• Serve as a resource to teachers and parent communities on speech and language development
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized tools
• Maintain detailed session notes and required documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and team planning as needed
