Urologist

Assignment Details

• Location: Paducah, Kentucky

• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based with potential outpatient procedures

• Coverage: Ongoing

• Coverage Needed: 7–10 days per month

• 1–3 providers needed

Compensation: 24 Hour On Call: $2240 per 24 hours, Call Back: $350/hr.

Schedule

• 24-hour in-house call

• Call Ratio: 1:4–1:6

• Average Callback: 2–8 hours

Clinical Details

• Adult patient population

• Primarily inpatient (100%) with potential for some outpatient procedures

• Average Patient Volume: 6–12 patients per day

• EMR: Epic

• Support Staff: Two onsite ambulatory APRNs provide clinic support

Required Procedures & Skills

• General Urology

• Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) – available on Tuesdays

• Advanced endoscopic techniques

• Ureteroscopy

• Laser certification

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology

• Active Kentucky medical license or active IMLC

• DEA required

• ACLS preferred

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days

• Temporary privileges available
