We are seeking an experienced Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing team at Home Front Mortgage in the Portland, OR area.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced lending environment and is looking for a long-term role with growth potential. We offer a base salary plus commission structure , providing both stability and performance-based earning potential.

What You’ll Do

• Support Loan Officers in managing the full loan lifecycle from application to closing
• Communicate with borrowers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure smooth file flow
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation
• Assist in pre-qualification and pre-approval processes
• Monitor loan status updates and help ensure timely closings
• Maintain accurate pipeline management in LOS systems
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process
  

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years of mortgage lending experience (required)
• Active licensing as required for Loan Officer Assistant role
• Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines, documentation, and processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through
