Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio of 4:1. Weekend coverage required for approximately half of the contract period.

• 13-week travel assignment in a progressive Intermediate Care unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including cardiac telemetry, post-surgical, orthopedic trauma, and critical care step-down patients
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, ventilated patient care, IV insulin protocols, and titration of insulin drips
• Experience with blood product administration, central line management, chest tubes, and various critical care skills
• Geographic restrictions apply; candidates residing in certain local counties are not eligible
