Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications, with night shift availability and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Intermediate Care (IMC) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Epic EMR system used; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1–2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted; candidates must apply individually
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Candidates from the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
