Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual audiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute social media strategy through research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share weekly content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Manage and optimize social media pages within each platform to increase the visibility of our social content
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to manage identify timely needs and coordinate actions
Desired qualifications
- Good consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Adequate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge, Including Meta
- Experience in Canva or other digital design software
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Interest or background in STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
- Fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)
