Production Technician

Job Full Description

We are seeking candidates for 2nd shift Production opening with a great manufacturing client located in Verona, WI.

The ideal candidates will have past manufacturing experience, ideally within the plastic industry.

These are evaluation-hire opportunities with a client that makes specimen containers used in the agriculture industry.

Duties:

• Operate and monitor plastic molding machines in a small department.
• Set up machines for production runs according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications:

• Machine Operator: Prior experience preferred.
• Material handling: Ability to handle and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Basic math: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for measurements and quantities.
• Quality inspection: Ability to visually inspect products for defects or irregularities.
• Forklift operation: Experience operating a forklift to transport materials or products.
• Machining knowledge: Familiarity with machining processes and techniques.

Schedule:

• 2nd shift: 1pm - 9:30pm

Pay: $22 - $29/hour base pay, based on experience. There is a $2.00 premium for 2nd and 3rd shift.
