Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Mission Statement Alignment
Solterra School exists to redefine education through holistic inclusion-blending Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and integrated therapeutic supports within an eco-conscious environment that honors each learner's unique rhythm of growth.
The Speech-Language Pathologist advances this mission by strengthening student communication, connection, regulation, and functional independence-supporting learners in finding their voice, accessing learning, and building relational confidence across environments.
Redefine What's Possible for Neurodivergent Students Solterra School blends Universal Design for Learning, Social-Emotional Learning, and integrated therapeutic support in an eco-conscious, highly individualized learning environment. We're looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who wants to help students find their voice, access learning, and build relational confidence - not from a therapy room down the hall, but woven into the everyday life of the classroom. The Role As our onsite SLP, you'll evaluate, treat, and support students with speech, language, communication, and feeding-related needs. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with teachers, behavior support staff, and other clinicians so communication support shows up throughout the school day - in transitions, at lunch, during group work - not just in a scheduled session. You'll serve students with diverse learning profiles, including neurodivergent learners, and students with complex communication needs. Documentation fidelity and compliance readiness are part of the role, aligned with clinical standards and payer requirements as applicable. What You'll Do Assess & Plan
Solterra School, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
We believe every member of our community deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to thrive.
Our Mission Solterra School provides a nurturing, highly individualized learning environment that blends evidence-based therapies with innovative education. Our mission is simple yet bold: to redefine what's possible for neurodivergent students. The pay range for this role is: 80,000 - 105,000 USD per year (Norfolk)

- Students making real progress toward functional communication goals
- Communication access showing up across classrooms and routines, not just therapy sessions
- Consistent AAC implementation across staff
- Clean, compliant documentation
- Strong collaboration between clinical and education teams, and with families
