STAFFING & ACCOUNT MANAGER – SCHOOL DISTRICT OPERATIONS

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 annually, depending on experience

Employment Type: Full Time

POSITION OVERVIEW

A & Associates is seeking a highly organized, driven, and hands on Staffing & Account Manager to oversee staffing operations for one of our largest accounts in the Orlando area.

This position will primarily support our school district staffing operations, where we provide custodial and food service employees to multiple locations throughout the district.

This is a fast paced, high volume staffing position that requires someone who can recruit every day, manage multiple priorities, maintain strict employee compliance requirements, visit client sites, and respond quickly to changing staffing needs.

The ideal candidate is not someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable recruiting, communicating with employees, visiting job sites, handling compliance issues, and working directly with the client to ensure daily staffing expectations are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Staffing & Recruiting

• Recruit custodial and food service workers on a consistent daily basis to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates

• Manage high volume recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and placement of employees

• Proactively recruit ahead of anticipated staffing needs rather than waiting for openings to occur

• Maintain an active pipeline of backup employees to help cover call outs, turnover, and increased client requests

• Conduct candidate follow ups and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process

• Coordinate employee start dates, schedules, assignments, and replacements

Account Management

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned school district staffing operations

• Build and maintain a strong professional relationship with client representatives and site leadership

• Respond quickly and professionally to staffing requests, attendance issues, employee concerns, and client needs

• Track daily staffing levels and work to ensure requested headcounts are consistently met

• Communicate staffing updates, challenges, and solutions to A & A leadership

• Follow up on client concerns and ensure issues are addressed promptly

Compliance & Badging

• Manage employee compliance requirements associated with working within the school district

• Coordinate and track school district badges and required credentials

• Ensure employees complete all required onboarding documents before beginning assignments

• Maintain accurate and organized employee compliance records

• Follow up with employees regarding missing, incomplete, or expired documentation

• Ensure employees understand client policies, dress codes, attendance expectations, and site specific requirements

Field Operations

• Conduct regular visits to assigned schools and client locations throughout the Orlando area

• Meet with employees and site leadership to address staffing needs and operational concerns

• Assist with employee check ins, orientations, and first day support when needed

• Monitor employee attendance, performance, professionalism, and reliability

• Address call outs and coordinate replacements as quickly as possible

• Help resolve employee issues before they negatively impact the client relationship

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate staffing rosters, employee records, recruiting pipelines, and compliance trackers

• Track open positions, employee status, attendance, and staffing needs

• Maintain organized documentation related to client and employee activity

• Provide regular staffing updates and reports to management

• Work closely with recruiting, HR, payroll, and operations to ensure employees are properly onboarded and supported

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous staffing, recruiting, account management, operations, HR, or workforce management experience preferred

• Experience with high volume recruiting strongly preferred

• Ability to recruit and manage multiple positions and locations simultaneously

• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Strong attention to detail, particularly with compliance documentation and employee records

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

• Comfortable having difficult conversations and holding employees accountable

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment where staffing needs can change quickly

• Ability to prioritize urgent client needs while continuing to work toward long term recruiting goals

• Comfortable working both in an office environment and in the field

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, applicant tracking systems, and other basic business technology

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to school and client locations throughout the Orlando area

• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow through

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Success in this position means maintaining a consistent pipeline of qualified custodial and food service workers, meeting daily staffing requests, keeping employee compliance and badging organized, maintaining strong communication with the client, and resolving staffing challenges before they become larger issues.

The successful candidate will understand that recruiting is an ongoing responsibility. This position requires someone who is proactive, stays ahead of staffing needs, and takes ownership of the account.

COMPENSATION

$45,000 – $60,000 annually

Final compensation will be based on relevant staffing, recruiting, account management, and operations experience.
