The opportunity
Our client is a fast-scaling, Series C-backed AI technology company with over $135M raised and a product that sits at the heart of how leading AI teams build, monitor, and optimise their systems. Their customer base includes some of the world's most recognisable enterprises, and they're growing fast.
The founding team has done this before, having previously built and sold a company to a major global corporation. Sales leadership has been brought in from category-defining SaaS businesses. This is a company with real pedigree, real product, and real momentum.
The team you're joining
Our client is doubling down on its Mid-Market and Digital Native segment, selling to AI startups and high-growth tech companies that genuinely need what they've built. The team is scaling quickly and is deliberately structured as a pipeline into enterprise sales. Get in, master the sales motion, and you're first in line for enterprise-level deals within 9–12 months.
he role
You'll own a territory of digital native and mid-market accounts, running full sales cycles from prospecting through close. Deals move quickly (1–3 months), and you'll be selling to the people who actually build AI - engineers, data scientists, and technical leadership.
Day to day you'll be:
- Running a proactive outbound motion to identify and engage the right accounts
- Leading discovery, demos, and proof of concepts
- Managing stakeholders internally and externally to drive deals forward
- Building relationships within the AI/ML community - not just selling to it
- Tracking to quota and contributing to a team that's scaling quickly
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of AE experience, ideally following a strong SDR or sales development track record
- Experience selling to technical buyers - engineering teams, dev teams, CTO/CIO/CISO level
- Background in a technical product space: AI infrastructure, DevOps, dev tooling, observability, cybersecurity, or similar
- Hungry, self-directed, and comfortable in a high-growth environment
- Based in or able to work in the California time zone
Compensation
$160k - 220K OTE | 50/50 split | 3-month ramp | Competitive equity
Actual compensation is determined by experience, skill set, and qualifications.
