We are looking for a Marketing & Development Specialist who can act as our internal "media house." Your mission is simple: Make our products look incredible and our sales process effortless, creating content that attracts the world to us (videos, blogs, and branding). As a critical part of the Sales & Marketing team, this role will work closely with our sales, marketing, and R&D teams to develop and execute marketing plans and strategies for our products while serving our current and future clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Digital Content & Web Design: Drive the creation of engaging digital content. Add vibrancy to the website by updating copy, designing layouts via Web/HTML, and producing high-engagement product/demonstration videos.

• Customer Success & Testimonials: Proactively follow up with current and past customers to ensure continuous product adoption. Interview users to create compelling testimonials, case studies, and feature stories that highlight our community of creators and influencers.

• Newsletter & Marketing Automation: Own the creation, execution, and data tracking of our email newsletters and marketing automation workflows to keep our database engaged.

• Social Media & Community Management: Update and aggressively grow our social media accounts to showcase user-generated content, customer highlights, and product capabilities.

• Trade Show Engagement & Follow-Up: Represent the company at industry trade shows. Own the pre-show digital invite campaigns and the post-show content-driven follow-up to smoothly transition booth visitors into active relationships.

• Market & Competitor Research: Monitor media trends, adjacent product rollouts, and competitor offerings to keep our messaging sharp, fresh, and ahead of the curve.

• Customer Acquisition: Be eager to learn and test digital advertising/acquisition channels and methods, including paid search and emerging trends

• Identify and analyze market trends and key opportunities for innovative products and services

• Coach internal team members and partners on a unified marketing strategy.

• Drive sales efforts by interacting with potential clients providing demonstrations, quoting solutions, etc.

Education/Experience:

Required:

• 4-year degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field, or equivalent experience

• 2–4 years of experience in content marketing, digital media production, or customer success.

• Proficiency in basic Web/HTML design and modern video editing software.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

• Interest in lifelong learning & professional development.

Preferred:

• 3–5 years of successful marketing or client enablement experience.

• Excellent attention to detail, process creation, and organizational skills.

• Experience managing corporate social media growth, specifically LinkedIn.

• Competency in Microsoft/Google applications including Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, and PowerPoint/Slides

Travel: Minimal up to 15% (primarily for industry trade shows or customer visits).

Location: Dubuque, IA. In person required.
