Marketing CoordinatorResponsible for coordinating efforts in assigned areas of the Marketing Department to ensure the successful execution of projects, assignments, tournaments, entertainment, events and promotions.This position supports Diamond Jo Worth and Dubuque Marketing TeamsEnter and track Workfront JobsWork with appropriate areas of marketing to develop, coordinate and facilitate projects, entertainment, tournaments, promotions and special eventsDevelop and distribute notification and details of marketing entertainment, tournaments, promotions and special events to related departmentsWork with Marketing Shared Services to effectively program desired promotionsAssist with the use of marketing channels to advertise promotions and events to targeted guests and prospective guestsCoordinate property resources to be utilized in the implementation of promotions and eventsWork at all promotions, special events, tournaments, and entertainment events as neededAssist with the gathering of guest photos and signed releases for promotion winners, jackpot winners, etcMust possess high energy and be detail orientedMust work well under pressure and handle difficult circumstances with easeHandle guest inquiries and complaints regarding promotions and eventsAssist Boyd Rewards Counter when necessaryUnder direction of Marketing Director or Manager, order gifts and marketing/promotional itemsAssist in keeping thorough and accurate inventory of gifts and other marketing/promotional itemsPerform other duties as assigned by managementMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least (1) one year of customer service experience requiredPrior experience in an administrative/support role in a Marketing department strongly preferredMust have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skillsMust be detail-oriented and able to effectively handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneouslyMust be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysMust be able to efficiently and effectively utilize e-mail, Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Creative SuiteMust be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certificationsBoyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class
