Process Engineering Lead (Downstream) - US, North Carolina - End of Year Contract Are you ready to make a real impact? Our client, a globally recognized leader in biotechnology, is hiring for the role of Process Engineering Lead. What you’ll do Serve as the technical SME for downstream process equipment, supporting process design and engineering decisions across all project phases (concept, FEED, detailed design, construction, CQV). Lead the design review and specification of downstream unit operations, including: Chromatography systems (e.g., Protein A, ion exchange, polishing) Tangential flow filtration (TFF) / ultrafiltration‑diafiltration (UF/DF) What you’ll need Degree is preferred Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical drug substance manufacturing, with a strong focus on downstream processing. Proven experience supporting large‑scale CAPEX projects, ideally in greenfield facility builds. Deep technical expertise in downstream unit operations and equipment design (chromatography, filtration, viral clearance, etc.). Demonstrated experience working through full project lifecycle (design → CQV → start‑up).
