Registered Nurse - Stepdown Nights

Location: Oklahoma

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute care environment and possess essential clinical skills for managing stepdown patients.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry and other diagnostic tools.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed, including blood product administration and cardiac drips management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.
• Document patient information accurately in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a stepdown or telemetry nursing role.
• Valid Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be held at the time of submission.
