Associate Housekeeping Technician - Certified Surgical Cleaning Tech Preferred
Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a healthcare setting in the Midwest region. This role involves cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms and common areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized. Responsibilities include the safe handling and disposal of regular and biohazardous waste, adhering strictly to infection prevention and safety protocols. The position requires working both independently and collaboratively to support department goals.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. - Previous related experience is advantageous. - Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred. - 1-2 years of relevant experience is desirable.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week. - First shift hours with varied scheduling including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
