Specialist Lead, Government Client Contracts Management (Civil)

Position Summary Possesses a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, and commercial contracting principles. Supports the administration of all facets of the contracts life-cycle. Performs contract administration duties for federal contracts. Exercises increased independence and judgment in reviewing and analyzing moderately contracts actions. Maintains a keen awareness of requirements and status associated with assigned contracts. Effectively, manages personal portfolio and advises account teams on contract matters. Compiles and analyzes contract related data; and maintains historical information and documentation. Proactively identifies and analyzes contracting issues, solving standard/routine contract activities. Ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with peers, internal leadership, and clients.Recruiting for this role ends on 09/01/2026.Work you'll doAs a Specialist, Government Client Contracts Management on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for:Proactively provides support to the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, modifications, prime contractor NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts consistent with company policies.Ensures contract data is entered into appropriate forms and databases and checks the accuracy and completeness of electronic documents and contract systems data.Reviews federal solicitations, requests for information, and proposals; identifies business risks; documents findings; and provides recommendations.Understands key terms and conditions of assigned contracts that affect performance or compliance and conveys information to stakeholders.Prepares standard contract language for inclusion in proposals.Receives and interprets federal customer post-submission clarifications and/or deficiencies; coordinates proposal updates; remits revised proposal offers to the Contracting Officer.Develops relationships with external client stakeholders and attends industry and government events.Collaborates across GPS teams to provide solutions and insights related to contracts portfolio.Reviews for compliance with federal contract regulations and reporting requirements.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsThe Team The Government & Public Services Sector, known as GPS within the Firm, is committed to improving public outcomes. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,300 - $155,400.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
