Senior Web Developer

Salary: $100,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of web development experience, including 2 or more years leading projects.
• Expertise across the full web development lifecycle, including user interface design, programming, requirements analysis, architecture, and software development.
• Experience maintaining legacy codebases such as ASP Classic and VBScript, as well as current technologies such as .NET.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including independently diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Ability to connect technical work with broader business objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with ASP Classic, VBScript, .NET, C# or VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, and cross-browser development for Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.
• Preferred, but not required: experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications; artificial intelligence and automation; APIs; cloud or multi-cloud management; multi-factor authentication; and IIS administration and deployment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in writing and verbally, adapt to change and shifting priorities, and manage deadlines and competing demands.
• Ability to apply tools and practices from team participation and other training, and to align with our vision, values, and culture.

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of our web applications, set code quality standards, and conduct peer reviews.
• Analyze user needs, define site objectives and system functionality, and select suitable methods and tools.
• Partner with Project Management to gather requirements from business teams and assess the technical scope of requested features.
• Own project delivery from initial concept through deployment, ensuring solutions are appropriately architected, specified, and delivered on schedule.
• Act as a technical point of contact to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across development and production environments, platforms, and user groups.
• Help shape our technology roadmap by evaluating emerging trends, software, and development tools to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Support our team and organizational culture through effective communication, continuous improvement, flexibility, accountability, timely problem-solving, positive recognition, knowledge sharing, and support for colleagues.

We are hiring a Senior Web Developer to guide our web technology strategy and oversee internal and external applications, spanning legacy ASP Classic systems and newer .NET applications. The role includes maintaining the stability and security of existing applications while advancing modernization efforts. It is remote, with travel if needed, and follows Pacific Standard Time hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Salary is $100,000 or more, depending on experience.
