Ideal candidates will bring the following:
- Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active and current OT license in California
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in dynamic, school-based environments
As part of your responsibilities, you’ll:
- Assess students’ abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to promote success in their school environments
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other therapists to support student goals
- Document progress and adjust interventions for maximum impact
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and family members on therapeutic techniques and strategies
