Exciting opportunities await for skilled Occupational Therapists to make a significant impact across multiple school sites in the Oroville area, with occasional travel to Paradise. This contract position spans the full academic year, from August 10 through May 28, 2027, and is ideal for professionals ready to support student development in a dynamic educational environment.
As part of this in-person assignment, you'll play an important role in helping students overcome barriers to academic success, working closely with educators, families, and other specialists. Travel between sites is required, and mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Key Qualifications:
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience or interest in working within school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel daily between school locations (mileage reimbursed)
- Commitment to providing services for the entire school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored OT assessments and interventions to support students’ participation in classroom and school activities
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Document and communicate student progress effectively
- Adapt strategies and tools to meet diverse student needs across multiple school sites
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
