2-7 Year Associate Attorney - Litigation

Litigation Law Firm Our client, a very successful and well-known defense litigation law firm is looking for an experienced Litigation Associate to join their Dallas team. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of insurance defense matters and work closely with experienced trial attorneys while developing trial skills and taking ownership of cases. The firm offers a very collaborative and positive work environment including HYBRID with 3 days per week from home and 2 in the office. The firm also offers fair billing requirements and great benefits. About the Role The successful candidate will manage a caseload of insurance defense matters and work closely with experienced trial attorneys while developing trial skills and taking ownership of cases. Responsibilities Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case evaluations Take and defend depositions Attend and argue hearings, arbitrations, and trials Communicate directly with clients and carriers Work with partners on litigation strategy, case development, and firm growth Take ownership of your cases Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing 5-7+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines Required Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines Preferred Skills 5-7+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience preferred Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Base salary starting at $165k+ for qualified candidates with trial experience Bonus Partner-track opportunity with long-term growth potential Mentorship and professional development with experienced trial attorneys #J-18808-Ljbffr Wegman Partners
