Description We are hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Accounting team at White Lodging's corporate headquarters in Merrillville, Indiana. This is a hybrid role — three days per week in our Merrillville corporate office and two days remote — offering the structure of an in-person collaborative environment alongside the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. This is a high-volume, multi-state payroll role for a detail-oriented payroll professional who brings strong technical skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate payroll environment supporting 30+ hotel properties across multiple states. What You'll Do Process full gross-to-net payroll for 30+ multi-state hotel locations in a high-volume corporate payroll environment — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations Reconcile payroll calculations — including federal, state, and local tax withholdings — across a multi-state hotel portfolio with precision and strict attention to detail Partner with property management teams across the White Lodging hotel portfolio to resolve missed punches, approval issues, and payroll exceptions in a timely and professional manner Research and process off-cycle payments and retroactive pay adjustments as needed — ensuring accurate gross-to-net payroll production at every property Execute payroll reports and system queries to ensure ongoing data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance across all assigned hotel locations Provide timely, professional payroll support to associates and leaders across the organization — serving as a knowledgeable and responsive resource for all payroll-related inquiries What You'll Bring Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations — with demonstrated experience processing multi-state payroll in a high-volume corporate environment Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines consistently across a large, multi-property hotel portfolio Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems — Lawson experience preferred; Kronos experience a strong plus for this hotel payroll administrator role Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills — with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven payroll environment High level of personal integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive associate and payroll data Strong verbal and written communication skills with a genuine customer-service focus — you are a responsive, professional resource for associates and property leaders across the organization Comfort and productivity in a hybrid work environment — self-directed and accountable both in the Merrillville, Indiana corporate office three days per week and working remotely What You Can Look Forward To Hybrid work schedule — 3 days per week in our Merrillville, Indiana corporate office, 2 days remote Unlimited employee referral bonuses 401(k) with company match Vacation and Paid Time Off (PTO) with rollover Complimentary wellness tools Leadership development & tuition reimbursement Discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and travel Growth opportunities across a portfolio of 60+ premium hotel properties nationwide Full-time associates also receive: Medical, dental, and vision insurance — starting day 1 Life and disability insurance Paid parental leave Employee Assistance Program (EAP) White Lodging is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
