SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST (HYBRID)

Compass Group North America is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Financial Analyst to support Foodbuy LLC. This role is integral to delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and owning the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for key clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and brings strong analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to operate independently, exercise sound professional judgment, and effectively partner across teams. Primary Responsibilities Own and manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for key clients Execute monthly close activities including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis Serve as primary point of contact for accounting processes Support business partners and team deliverables Identify and drive process improvements and automation Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by management Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification or candidate preferred 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools strongly preferred Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar) Experience working in a large, decentralized, or multi-unit organization Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities independently Experience delivering presentations to senior management and department customers Skills & Abilities Strong accounting knowledge with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment Ability to manage high volumes of work and competing priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organization and planning skills Ability to foster solid business partnerships across multiple disciplines Collaborative team-oriented mindset Food industry experience is a plus Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance/ AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Personal Leave Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
