Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianWe are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in a specialty steel manufacturing environment.This is a primarily electrical maintenance position, and we're specifically looking for someone with hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage electrical systems and industrial machinery.Candidates with additional experience in welding, fabrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace industrial equipmentPerform electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including high-voltage systemsDiagnose electrical and mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtimePerform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machineryTroubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systemsInspect equipment and identify potential maintenance or safety issuesPerform equipment safety inspections as requiredAssist with welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs as neededWork with machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and other industrial equipmentSupport maintenance of equipment used for production and testingReplace electrical, mechanical, and other equipment components as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all PPE, OSHA, and plant safety proceduresPerform other maintenance duties as assignedQualificationsRequired1–2+ years of industrial maintenance experienceStrong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experienceHigh-voltage electrical experience strongly preferred/requiredExperience diagnosing and repairing industrial machineryStrong mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to safely work around industrial electrical equipmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to read and follow technical instructions and proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferredWelding experienceFabrication experienceHydraulic and pneumatic troubleshootingExperience with lathes or milling machinesSpecialty steel, metal manufacturing, machining, or heavy industrial experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 pounds periodicallyAbility to push, pull, carry, reach, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periodsAbility to work around industrial machinery and equipmentAbility to perform hands-on repairs and maintenanceAbility to wear all required PPE
