Responsibilities The Enrollment and Eligibility Specialist provides patients, patients’ families, and community residents with vital information and linkages to affordable care and appropriate health benefits — including enrollment assistance for insurance programs such as Covered California and Medi‑Cal. The Specialist provides information about programs and services available to the community to foster health and wellness for the residents of Southeast Los Angeles. Qualifications Education, Experience, Training High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years of work experience in the medical field, preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, including estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.94 to $30.00. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection, taking into account skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
