The Bakeshop on 20th is a neighborhood bakery and cafe that is known for its homestyle, small batch pastries, made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, and welcoming atmosphere.
We are looking for a talented, passionate baker to join our bakery in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. If you have 1-2 years experience working in a commercial baking environment, enjoy baking from scratch recipes and take pride in producing beautiful,consistant products daily, then you are the perfect candidate for us. We require that you are detail oriented, follow recipes acurately and consistantly, have an interest and ability to explore new ideas, and able to work independently as well as be a contributing member of our team.
Requirements:
• Follow recipes, understands prep procedures
• Understands proper use of equipment such as ovens, mixers, scales, etc
• Keep a clean and neat work environment
• Follow directions of managing baker.
• Be organized and respectful of other employees work space
• Have excellent customer service and keep a clean appealing appearance.
• Able to work early morning hours and or afternoon and weekends.
