General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney for its Charleston, South Carolina office. This role involves making critical decisions and contributing significantly to the firm's success. Ideal for both newer lawyers seeking entry into personal injury law and experienced attorneys desiring a less adversarial role with predictable hours. Duties Handle all pre-litigation work daily. Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process. Guide clients through the case process. Draft and file pre-litigation documents. Complete TD approval for liability issues. Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation. Manage the release approval process. Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers. Focus on personal injury cases, primarily motor vehicle cases. Drive compliance and KPIs among the team. Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements. Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the SC State Bar Association. Personal injury experience preferred. Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Detail-oriented with an understanding of fact patterns. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active membership with the SC State Bar Association. Skills Strong leadership and team management. Excellent communication and client service.
