Patient Service Rep (PSR) - Sunset Hills Medicine

Job Title and Location Full‑time Patient Service Representative (PSR) at BJC Medical Group, Sunset Hills (MBMC – Sunset Hills – 3844 S Lindbergh Blvd Suite 120, St. Louis, MO 63127). Shift & Hours Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Core Responsibilities Act as initial point of contact for front office activity, directing patient flow. Perform patient check‑ins and appointment scheduling. Handle telephone calls from patients and staff, forwarding to appropriate personnel. Maintain patient financial records, verify health insurance coverage, and educate patients on payment regulations. Collect payments, enter service charges, assign diagnostic codes, and record physician/clinic related charges. Coordinate with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captured and properly collected. Perform receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2–5 years of experience in medical office or related front‑office role. Preferred: insurance knowledge; experience in Patient Advocate, PSR, Patient Access Rep, or Medical Receptionist roles.
