Position Requirements Registered nurses (RNs) perform many jobs. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members RN's are expected to provide a wide range of skilled nursing support which may include: Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Observing and recording patient behavior Administering medications and treatments Contribution to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Provide emotional and psychological support to the patients and their families, RNs create harmonious environment. Maintaining reports of patients' medical histories, and monitoring changes in their condition. Carrying out the requisite treatments and medications. Checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level, and placing orders if required. Adhering with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations to maintain complete medical records. Maintaining hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures. Providing necessary guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention. RN skills may include but not limited to the following; Calmness Under Pressure, Critical-Thinking, Patience, Compassion, Attention to Detail, Organizational and Communication Skills:
