This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprints, and quality control standards.Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:30PM-12:00AM with shift differential. Training on 1st shiftTechnical JobInstall and align machine accessories, such as cutting tools, work positioners, plates, fixtures, and shields, using hand tools and measuring instrumentsOperate CNC machining centers to meet desired specificationsRun proven machine tool programs with minimal supervisionManipulate machine controls, such as buttons, switches, dials, levers, and pedals to regulate and adjust cutting speed and feedsMeasure dimensions of finished part, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, or check fixtureMay trim, sand, and drill parts using shop equipmentPerform daily/weekly operator maintenance on machine equipment/tools as neededAccurately execute Company Process Control (PC) instructions and provide feedback when revisions are neededDocument actions by completing production and quality logs as neededAccomplish organization goals by actively exploring opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
