Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$1884.96/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in a hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support throughout the birthing process. Responsibilities: Administer medications and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs during labor and delivery. Interpret fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes. Assist physicians during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Perform procedures such as amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placements. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care. Qualifications: Valid RN license with minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience. Proficient in starting IVs, drawing labs, and fetal strip interpretation. Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Ability to perform vaginal exams and act as an OB circulator.
