Corporate M&A / Private Equity Associate (4–6 Years) – Houston, TX | Onsite
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate M&A / Private Equity Associate to join a leading law firm in Houston. This role offers hands-on experience advising private equity funds, sponsors, and portfolio companies on sophisticated transactions.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate M&A and transaction documents
- Work on capital raises, joint ventures, and securities offerings
- Support portfolio companies on day-to-day corporate matters
- Assist with deal execution and transaction management
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of corporate/M&A or private equity experience
- Experience representing sponsors and portfolio companies
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Team-oriented with strong academic credentials
- Texas Bar admission required
