Preferred Qualifications Complete tasks with minimal supervision. Learn new skills as necessary. Comfortable operating Microsoft Office software. Support students, faculty and administration in a positive and professional manner. Exhibit excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be solution oriented. Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters. Ability to work 20 hours per week. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate with a faculty mentor to guide and direct activities. Assist faculty members with collecting and analyzing data and reporting results on various research projects. Assist other students as part of the research team and take ownership in all aspects of the research project, including planning, data collection, data analysis, reports, and publications. Communicate project status to the faculty mentor as requested and help communicate with stakeholders. Mentor an undergraduate student. Ensure personal safety and the safety of others; exercise caution and practice safe work habits at all times. Observe security-sensitive procedures as required for this position.
