Wicked Maine Lobster is a family-owned restaurant originating from Southern Maine - we bring a slice of authentic Maine experience to San Diego. Since our humble beginnings at farmers markets in 2014 to a heavy favorite in Liberty Public Market since 2016 - we've been committed to fostering personal connections and sharing our story with both our team and customers. We believe that authenticity is the key ingredient to success and we strive to create a fun and supportive environment for everyone. Schedule Details :
- Weekly schedule will vary.
- 3 shift options available: 10am-4pm, 12pm-8pm and 3pm-9pm
- Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) availability a must
- Evening availability (3pm-9pm) a must
As a Cook/Cashier at our Liberty Public Market location, you'll play a crucial role in delivering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent and engaging customer service with a smile.
- Selling and upselling menu items with enthusiasm
- Ensuring timely completion of all online and food hall orders with precision
- Prepare seafood dishes with accuracy and care
- Preparing ingredients, sauces and menu items with attention to detail to minimize waste and errors
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation in accordance with Food Safety Standards
- Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Sharing our founder's backstory and product knowledge with enthusiasm
- Meet daily and weekly sales goals
We're looking for individuals who are:
- Experienced in cooking or back-of-the-house operations in a quick service environment (preferred).
- Active Food Handlers Card (training will be provided to obtain if not)
- Outgoing personality with a strong sense of Customer Service standards
- Reliable and able to meet scheduling commitments
- Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the kitchen team
- Detail-oriented with a passion for excellence
- Committed to maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness
- Team players who thrive in a collaborative environment
- Flexible work schedule, perfect for part-time college students.
