As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.**TITLE:** **Forklift Driver****REPORTS TO:** **Assistant Production Manager****SUPERVISES:** **N/A****PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY**Teamwork oriented employee responsible for the movement of materials in receiving, production and shipping as needed.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND DAILY TASKS*** Systemically scan and physically pull products to prepare for shipment.* Moves cabinet material, and any material from storage to work areas and vice versa.* Preforms routine maintenance on forklift as required by established procedures.* Maintains cleanliness of storage areas as assigned.* Maintains inventory records as required.* Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedure.* Coordinates with saw operators, and production management.* Performs other duties as required by management.**COMPETENCIES*** Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities.* Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.* Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.* Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.* Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*** Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.* 90% of work to be performed in an outdoor environment subject weather, noise, and dust.* Ability to read, write, and do basic mathematics.* Able to use a tape measure for accuracy.* Able to bend and stand, or and sit for extended periods of time.Why Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
