As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Presence in Bear, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete incident reports as required.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with established site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
