Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observer in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue10:00 AM - 06:00 PMWed10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and response protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
