Assistant Branch Manager

Overview Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a full time Assistant Branch Manager . Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area at one of our eleven branches. It is the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We aim to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to meet their financial needs. We have been serving the UAB and Birmingham community since 1955. We are committed to providing competitive pay and excellent benefits. We offer health and dental insurance through BCBS of Alabama, and company paid Life, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insurance . We offer two retirement plans: 401(k) with discretionary match and a Cash Balance Defined Benefit Plan and Trust . We also provide 12 paid holidays, 12 vacation days, and 10 sick days . This is a full-time position with standard hours: Monday through Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm . Responsibilities Assist our team and members with financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service. Help members with opening and closing accounts, and answer complex questions about products and services. Receive loan applications and assist in the loan process as needed. Resolve problems and provide support for miscellaneous tasks, including typing, filing, computer input, and answering the telephone. Qualifications Prior frontline financial service experience Experience handling money Knowledge of the lending process High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of related experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Legacy Credit Union
