Senior IT Financial Planning Analyst
Function: Global IT / Technology Finance
Experience: 812 years
Location: Dallas TX (or) Walnut Creek CA
Rate: $85/hr on C2C of all incl
Hybrid Role: Weekly three days needs to work from office location
What We Are Looking For
- Strong IT Finance / FP&A background supporting a large technology organization.
- Hands-on experience with annual IT budgeting, rolling forecasts, budget vs. actual analysis, and variance analysis.
- Experience managing/analysing IT OPEX, CAPEX, headcount, contractors, projects and vendor spend.
- Strong understanding of technology cost areas such as Cloud, SaaS/software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecom, managed services and IT projects.
- Experience preparing management reports, executive dashboards and financial models for senior IT/Finance leadership.
- Strong Excel / financial modelling skills.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI or similar financial/ERP/reporting platforms.
- Experience in IT cost optimization, vendor spend analysis, contract/renewal financial analysis and identifying savings opportunities.
- Good understanding of accruals, capitalization, cost allocation, intercompany charges, OPEX/CAPEX and financial controls.
- Ability to work closely with CIO/IT leadership, Corporate Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable working with senior stakeholders in a global/matrix organization.
- English fluency is mandatory.
- Mandarin is preferred, especially for candidates who have worked with Greater China/APAC stakeholders.
