Service Dispatcher

Service Dispatcher Ascend Mechanical is hiring a Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily technician schedules and support overall service operations. The Service Dispatcher is responsible for organizing and adjusting the daily workflow for our field technicians, ensuring service calls are assigned appropriately, schedules are maintained, and customers and technicians are kept informed. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while keeping the day running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily technician schedules and service assignments. Match technicians to jobs based on availability, location, and skill set. Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed throughout the day. Communicate updates between technicians, customers, and office staff. Respond to schedule changes, delays, and urgent service needs. Help ensure open time is efficiently filled with appropriate work. Document job updates, schedule changes, and follow-up needs. Support customer communication and assist with incoming calls when needed Work closely with office staff to maintain smooth daily operations. Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable using computers and scheduling systems. Team-oriented with a strong attention to detail. Dispatching, scheduling, or service-industry experience preferred.
