Department: Editorial / Production Location: Colorado Springs Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and creative Pre‑Press Coordinator to join our publishing team. This role plays a vital part in bringing meaningful content to life—from concept to print—by ensuring all materials are prepared with precision, accuracy, and excellence. The ideal candidate has a passion for publishing, a strong technical foundation in prepress production, and a heart for supporting a mission-driven organization. What You’ll Do Prepare and deliver print‑ready files for both traditional printing and Print‑on‑Demand (POD) production Review and process job tickets, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion Manage corrections for book reprints, ensuring all updates align with editorial and printer specifications Coordinate proofing processes, including soft and hard proofs, ensuring color accuracy and final approvals Collaborate closely with designers, editors, and production teams to streamline workflows and improve processes Perform light graphic design updates to book covers and interior layouts while maintaining brand consistency Manage digital assets, including archiving, file packaging, and ensuring proper formatting, fonts, and image standards (CMYK) Stay current with publishing technologies and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and innovation #J-18808-Ljbffr David C Cook
