Overview Senior Systems Engineer SE3 – TS/SCI with poly security clearance required. Location: Annapolis Junction, MD. We are actively seeking a System Engineer to support our Prime Program. This role can be filled at SE Level 2 or SE Level 3. A current and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. We are looking for a NiFi Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience manipulating data in NiFi, setting up NiFi, understanding data flows, and controlling them. The candidate will utilize a variety of technologies to ingest, track, and manage large data flows; apply subject matter expertise in data flows to analyze and generate actionable alerts from large datasets; and be responsible for managing, maintaining, and configuring NiFi clusters. Responsibilities Dataflow experience in the last 5 years. Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex data flows. Experience using the Linux command line. Experience with Apache NiFi to process and distribute data. Experience with corporate data flows processes and tools. Experience with corporate data security, compliance, procedures, and policies. Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – DoDAF, SOA, etc. Contribute to the development of system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capability Documents, requirement specifications, and Interface Control Documents. Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components. Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination. Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on evaluation of development and operational considerations. Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components. Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions. Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan. Develop system design solutions that satisfy the system requirements and fulfill the functional analysis. Review and provide input to program and contract work breakdown structure (WBS), work packages and the integrated master plan (IMP). Participate in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle. Derive from system requirements an understanding of stakeholder needs and essential functions for system effectiveness. Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements and ensure they are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable. Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. No CCA’s will be accepted for this role. A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. SE Level 2: 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. SE Level 3: 20 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. #J-18808-Ljbffr Power3
