What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and executing creative food and beverage menus
- Produce and oversee exceptional dishes with outstanding presentation and flavor
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations while maintaining quality and consistency
- Support the Executive Chef with menu planning, food preparation, and daily kitchen management
- Lead kitchen service and step into the Executive Chef role when needed
- Train, coach, mentor, and motivate the culinary team
- Create staff schedules and evaluate team performance
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Maintain the highest food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Resolve challenges quickly while fostering a positive, professional kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of Sous Chef experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food quality
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and restaurant management software
- Passion for culinary excellence and continuous improvement
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
