Work Environment

This position allows you to work remotely while being part of a vibrant outpatient office setting, which houses a state-of-the-art facility designed for optimal therapy delivery. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Pathway, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that foster connection and mutual learning among clients.
• Providing empathetic one-on-one counseling to explore clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, assisting them in developing effective coping strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals, integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Monitoring and assessing client progress through systematic evaluation metrics and feedback loops, ensuring adaptive treatment strategies are employed as necessary.
• Working closely with colleagues to coordinate care, share insights on treatment plans, and consult on complex cases, thereby ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will have the opportunity to create lasting impacts on the lives of these individuals, providing them with the support they need to overcome their challenges and thrive. Recognizing the unique complexities faced by this demographic, you will offer tailored interventions that resonate with their experiences and goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.
• Strong commitment to professional ethics and an understanding of mental health treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants with experience in mental health treatment settings, particularly those with a proven track record of working with young adults. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices, creative therapeutic techniques, and crisis intervention skills will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

Pathway Mental Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a range of benefits designed to support your well-being, including:
